SAME COMPOSITION
Both consist of carbon atoms arranged in a diamond crystal structure.
THE DIAMOND GUIDE
Lab-grown and natural diamonds share the same remarkable beauty and essential properties. What sets them apart is their origin. Discover the differences and choose what matters most to you.

THE SCIENCE OF BEAUTY
01
Both consist of carbon atoms arranged in a diamond crystal structure.
02
Both can display exceptional brilliance and fire, depending on their cut and quality.
03
Both measure 10 on the Mohs hardness scale.
The difference isn't what they are. It's where they begin.
THE STORY OF ORIGIN
Every diamond has a story. While natural diamonds form deep within the Earth, lab-grown diamonds are created through advanced technology. Both share the essential properties that make diamonds extraordinary.

Formed deep within the Earth under extreme heat and pressure, natural diamonds develop through geological processes over millions to billions of years.

Created in controlled environments using HPHT or CVD technology, lab-grown diamonds develop the same diamond crystal structure through carefully managed growth conditions.
THE FOUR Cs OF DIAMONDS
Whether natural or lab-grown, diamonds are evaluated using four essential characteristics: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat Weight.

Cut describes how well a diamond's proportions, symmetry, and polish contribute to its light performance and brilliance. Cut grading applies to specific shapes and grading systems; not all diamond shapes receive the same cut grade.

Diamond color grades generally range from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown) on the standard D–Z scale.

Clarity evaluates internal inclusions and external blemishes, which can influence a diamond's appearance. Grading considers their nature, size, number, position, and visibility.

Carat measures a diamond's weight, not its visible size. One carat equals 200 milligrams. Face-up dimensions also depend on shape, proportions, and cut.

BEYOND THE PRICE
Every diamond carries value in different ways. Understanding pricing, rarity, and personal significance can help you choose with confidence.
Lab-grown diamonds generally cost less than natural diamonds with comparable characteristics, making larger sizes or higher specifications accessible at different budgets.
Natural diamonds are limited by geological availability, while lab-grown diamonds can be produced through controlled manufacturing processes.
Diamond resale prices vary significantly. Neither natural nor lab-grown diamonds should be considered guaranteed financial investments. Lab-grown diamonds generally face more limited resale demand.
The right diamond isn't simply about its price. It's about what matters most to you.
